A Very Burberry Christmas

As Christmas Day is just a sunset away, we reflect on the chilly weather we’ve had this winter. Earlier in November myself and a small select team headed off to Clissold Park in preparation for the upcoming launch issue of Diversity Hires Magazine. With photography by Raffaella Bichri makeup and hair by Rafael using Ruby Hammer Beauty & Suqqu supplied by Muse Comms and clothing sourced from the store Check It Vintage. We headed into the cold air to shoot what would be one of my favourite creative endeavours to date.

Arriving at the studio for hair and makeup, coffee in hand (iced ofcourse) myself and model Sienna rock up ready to start. As soon as we get started, Liza our christmas shoot star arrives looking fresh faced and gleeful, ready for the makeup and pamper session. With makeup products supplied by the wonderful team over at Muse Comms, myself and my hair and makeup assistant Rafael get stuck in.

With the team getting ready within an hour and a half, we all rush out to start the shoot. Its only towards the end of the shoot we start to capture the images needed for our christmas shoot. It was our wonderful photographer Raffaella who came up with the brilliant idea to shoot in front of a red berry bush! Very festive indeed. With Liza wrapped in a red tartan coat (Burberry of course) and myself wrapped up in my own vintage Burbs, we get the coveted walking shot. The word that comes to mind is speedy.

Being able to create such fantastic imagery with such a short amount of time was such a thrilling feeling.
